The artists Elísabet Brynhildardóttir, Eygló Harðardóttir og Guðrún Benónýsdóttir come together in the show ´Endaleysa´ at Gletta exhibition space 17th of April 2021. New and old works are built into a combination from a conversation between the artists.
The artists find a connection through their notions of time, sort of. The idea of timelessness or non-time is probably accurate when the artists try our boundaries with images that circle between the limits of time and matter. They explore how time, specific moments and sensations could take on some sort of form or could be expressed, and how in the end timelessness is rooted in almost everything we do.
The artists are often under influence from different kinds of traditional art forms such as drawing, weaving, artbookistry and color and those they explore as their ground base in a material creation.
